Creating a corporation first involves filing Articles of Incorporation with the appropriate federal or provincial agency. Once the articles have been filed, the Corporation must then be organized by appointing directors, issuing shares, appointing officers, and adopting corporate bylaws. The Corporation must also obtain a business number and corporate tax account. At the same time as the business number is obtained, GST/HST Accounts and Payroll accounts can also be created, if they are needed. LawDepot’s Incorporation can help you will all of these services.
